About the project
Context and objective
I work on preserving Conceição Evaristo's collection at Casa Escrevivência, in partnership with librarian Rubia Luiza.
The work includes cleaning, organisation by material type and housing in pH-neutral enclosures suited to each item's characteristics.
The collection includes documents, photographs, personal belongings, press clippings, letters, cassette tapes, DVDs, floppy disks and other materials relating to the writer's life and work. These activities help conserve this diverse collection and organise it for consultation and research.
