About the project
Context and objective
I carried out digitisation, identification and minor repairs on the photographic archive of the União dos Professores Públicos no Estado — UPPES.
I used overhead digitisation, without pressing the materials against a glass surface. This technique captures images without compressing albums and photographs, reducing handling and the risk of damage during digitisation.
These activities helped preserve the photographs and made the institution's historical records easier to identify, consult and access.
